Transforming Communities
The Hub

Community equity and access to resources puts the passion and drive in The Neighborhood Hub's daily work. Whether it is through our community outreach projects for lead testing and abatement; partnering with families to reduce asthma triggers; or just providing step-by-step computer training and assistance.

The Hub has grown its organization and programs to impact the whole spectrum of community members in need of service, support, and opportunities for engagement. We are a visible inviting and safe refuge for our neighbors to convene to solve community problems and forge partnerships that strengthen and support community members from all walks of life.
Our Staff
The Neighborhood Hub staff is comprised of African Americans from the Northside of Minneapolis with a legacy of community action, volunteerism and a passion to create the healthiest environments for those who have historically been oppressed and abused.
Several were originally employed with the Hub in 2005 and have returned to continue the work reducing the disparities that are inflicted upon Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) in our communities.
