Creating Healthy Homes and Families
We want our Northside communities to be healthy and happy. through our various programs we assist clients with access to lead testing, lead mitigation grants for home, and free asthma control products and asthma education to reduce triggers.

We also have a ReThink your Drink program involving youth who promote healthy drink choices.

Environment and
Energy Justice
In addition to creating healthy homes, our goal is to have thriving BIPOC communities with energy and environmental parity.
The Hub, in conjunction with a community energy cohort has several opportunities for residents to engage in the search for energy equity, including energy sources education; commenting on local utility Integrated Resource Plans (IRP), and volunteering on various committees to address current energy disparities.
We also provide access to resources that help with financial assistance for utilities. Finally, we assist community members with searching out other energy options to lower costs, such as solar energy.

Digital Literacy
Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) do not have access to digital equipment that richer communities have.
To combat that disparity the Hub has a FREE computer lab assisting residents with basic computer skills, resumes and online employment applications.

We provide free printing of your documents and strive to deliver the necessary technology services that enable our clients to be effective and productive in their personal environments. It is our goal to provide secure and dependable technology tools to YOU, our community.

Financial Literacy
New to the Hub is our financial literacy program. In partnership with Prepare & Prosper and Black Lion Foundation we focus on creating healthy personal financial habits.
Key elements include learning how credit works, creating budgets, and developing realistic financial goals. Clients are also able to open a FAIR bank account.
Fax and Notary
We at the Hub know everyone does not have access to fax machines and/or a notary.
We have both, a FREE fax machine for use during our office hours, as well as FREE notary services to authenticate your signature.
The notary is available during office hours and by appointment if scheduled well in advance.
